The possible changes in SEO for 2017
Well, it's 2017, and after a hard year we come to look forward to a fresh start with possibilities at our doorstep.
Towards the end of the year we had the roll-out of Google's very own Penguin 4.0 update which introduced the all new real-time version, it has being long awaited as the last penguin update was back in 2014 and that update itself turned out to have little impact within the search query's.
Now, the important parts, in 2017 we are to expect multiple changes within the search engine world, and I'm going to outline three major points that I feel is worth considering for the year.
1. DuckDuckGo will significantly grow.
I believe the upcoming search engine 'DuckDuckGo' shows us all what google used to be, the simplicity and easiness of what a search engine can be, I believe this out of all search engines will be the fastest-growing search engine for 2017 as people will start to look for the easier option. Especially with people concerning themselves with online privacy these days, DuckDuckGo shows the most promise out of every search engine I've come across.
2. Jobs in the SEO industry will sky-rocket.
With SEO showing it's true promise on the internet with the amount of traffic a site can gain through upping their keyword rankings, you can understand why jobs within the industry are in dire-need. I believe a job in SEO will be one of the hottest desk jobs this year.
3. 2017 will experience the biggest ranking shift yet.
Finally, I'd like to mention that I really do believe there will be a giant shift in rankings some point this year, with the giant bloom in AI technology in 2016, it's only natural to expect this making a large impact within the search engines, as google develops their 'deepmind' technology which seems to have a lot of mixed opinions, people become more and more interested with the possible changes to come.
